Full Care - We feed and clean. We feed top quality alfalfa hay stored in the barn. We feed each horse 1/4 of a bale a day, half in the morning and half in the evening. (At least 16 lbs of hay.) We provide a mineralized salt block in each stall. We do the cleaning as needed. All you need to take care of are vet and farrier services. (We can recommend severl good vets and farriers.) |
Large enclosure for just your horse(s).Your horse always gets all his feed because no other horses can get to it. Your horse has his own large paddock/corral - 24' x 100' -- large enough for a horse to gallop, buck, roll and be a horse. In fact, there is plenty of room for you to put two of your own horses together if you wish. (We have a few stalls of both larger and smaller dimensions if they fit your needs better. Call for pricing.)Loafing Shed - Windbreak Shelter AvailableSome of our enclosures have windbreak shelters in them. These sheds are designed an situated in the enclosure to allow your horse to have shade at anytime of the day or year and to have a windbreak no matter which direction the wind is blowing.

Round PenWe have a number of facilities to let you use and train your horse right on our place without having to trailer anywhere else. The first of these facilities is a 54' diameter round pen. There is little competition for the use of our training facilities. Only people who have horses here use them.

Riding ArenaWe have a very large outdoor riding arena. It is 90'x180' -- that's more than 1/3 of an acre. There is plenty of room to do either barrels or a dressage program. While the arena is outdoor, it can be used immediately after rain or snow. The footing is not slippery and drains immediately.

Bridle Path and Trail AccessWe also have a wide bridle path around the perimeter of our ranch -- about .4 mile. You can train your horse at a faster sustained pace on the path. You also have a place where you and your guests can ride without it always being in an arena without worrying about crossing roads or trailering your horse. If you do want to go down the road in front of our place a short ways, you will find a dirt road that will take you to the mountains on either side of Utah Valley. (And, the short distance you have to go down the road has a very wide shoulder along orchards, so you don't have to be out near the traffic.)

Trailer Parking Available (Free)We have plenty of room for you to park your horse trailer at our place 24/7 without any charge while you board your horse at our place.
